Hi, my name is Grace. I’m a Girl Scout Cadette earning my Silver Award, and when I started learning about the Women’s Suffrage Movement, I decided to take action to educate other kids about this wonderfully entertaining and enlightening piece of history.
I am so excited to share this information with other children, and I hope you have as much fun with the program as I did. This is an opportunity to teach kids about their political rights, as well as their cultural heritage and some really AWESOME women who fought for the right to vote and still are fighting for equal rights.
The main purpose of my program is to educate, but also to inspire. I want other girls and boys to become motivated and excited by history and have a desire to change the future. The main purpose is to show the way to the next generation of leaders.
That is what I hope to accomplish.
